About Andi Klemm

I am a homeschool mom, bookseller, Author (The Bookshop Hotel Series), blogger, Kung Fu Instructor (I am a 3rd degree black belt in Northern Shaolin/ Northern Praying Mantis), aspiring naturalist, for...ager, gardener, hiker, adventurer, and bicycle enthusiast. I strongly believe that education is a lifetime pursuit. I have a BBA in marketing and management and 12 years of retails and sales experiences. My specialty is merchandising. Education is a lifetime pursuit... Academics are highly valued in our house, but being a productive member of society even more so. Skills should be shared, art should be created, stories told, music made, things should be built and refurbished and not destroyed. So we read and draw a lot. I'd like to pass on the importance of developing artistic skill and tradecraft to my daughter. We homeschool from a Classical Model and study the world's history, sciences, and math in chronological order. We practice Kung Fu daily and grow a lot of our own food. This coming year we want to put a higher value on learning music theory, musical instruments, and foreign languages. Knitting and crochet are on our to do lists as well.
