My life goals? Acting with excellence in every area, loving deeply even when it hurts, and remaining passionately committed to being present each and every moment.

My wonderful husband and I live in NE Portland, which is awesome for a city, but we love the countryside as well and are always up for something new! We have no problem keeping busy. I recently graduated with a double major in Bible/Theology and Psychology from Multnomah University, so now I can focus more on my two little boys 15 months apart (the second born just this June!). My husband Andy works with finances at UPS, and has for the last decade +. He'll be graduating soon with a minor in business (major in Bible/Theology, like me).

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and like to say that I have rain in my blood! My parents and most of my siblings are still in the area. That's important, because family defines me like nothing else can. The other thing that really outlines who I am is my faith. God knows I've been a challenge to live with, even for myself, but he likes me anyway! The dedication I have to live well within God's sphere constantly pushes me to grow, love and learn. Simbi is a gift, a new avenue to do just that.
