Integrated Behavioral Health
25
Are you struggling to manage a particular health condition - asthma, diabetes, anxiety, a substance use disorder...?
As a counselor and public health professional with a background in clinical healthcare, I can help to educate you about your condition and empower you with the knowledge and skills that you need to better manage it from a behavioral perspective.
Think of this as a way to get help to make your treatment plan work for your life.
Instead of focusing on diagnosing and treating your condition with medication (which your healthcare provider will do), I will focus on empowering you with the skills needed to make treatment work for you, reduce your risk long-term, and develop factors that are helpful in reducing the rate of progression in your current condition.
This session will include one session of 20-30 minutes, and a follow-up session of 10-15 minutes to be used within the next week or two as our schedules permit.
