Teach me your magical traditions
10
This sounds super weird.
If it is okay in your customs to share information with outsiders- I would love to know more about your spirituality and magical practices. Anything from Native American traditions, to African folk tales, to Nordic magical recipes. Anything that's not a "major religion" (like the Abrahamic religions) and not relativity new (aka: Wicca/Spiritualism/Anything related to Alister Crowley) I really really want to hear about. Learning about First Nation legends in elementary school really kicked me off on this, and now I want to know whatever you have to tell me. Finding first-hand and reliable sources are hard.
(If it does make a difference to you where my blood-line is, I am very mayonnaise. Norwegian and Romani/Roma on my mom's side, and German on my dad's side. No Native American or Jewish ancestry that I know of, unfortunately, since I know some things are blood-bound in those traditions.)
The "Belarus healing whispers" got really big in the news recently since so few people know how to do it anymore. It got me thinking- I really enjoy learning and working with history, folklore, spiritual or supernatural things. If it is appropriate for you to teach me- I am a willing student.
