That's right. Between the culture wars, the "Religious Right", politics, and a host of other social movements.... I think the basics of what Christianity is actually about have gotten lost in the mix. Trust me, I've been there.

Would love to talk about it with you, wherever you're at, whatever your beliefs are, whatever questions you have... whatever. I'm not going to get my feelings hurt, and I'm not going to try to 'convert' you. I just think Christianity has been misrepresented badly in our culture, and I think a fairly clear understanding of influential cultural / historical movements is an important starting point. Starting point for what? That's up to you.

We're all better off understanding others in these important ways. If you're clueless about what the whole 'Jesus died for my sins,' 'wth is this 'sin' stuff anyway,' 'what do the lyrics mean to all those dumb songs, 'isn't GRACE about dancing,' 'what is salvation supposed to mean,' and 'who is this Jesus guy anyway' thing is all about, or... just don't 'get it' are bitter, angry or confused, or generally apathetic but mildly curious, I think we'd have fun talking about Christianity, spirituality and faith.

I've got no agenda except to be a resource and foster mutual understanding. So if your curious... let's chat. lol
