About Elliott Johnson
I have higher education in mechanical and manufacturing engineering. Great with all types of machines, not limited to cars, bikes, or lawn equipment. I have designed or redesigned parts for cars to ma...ke them stronger, faster and better. I am experienced in Solidworks, ProE, AutoCAD, SmartCAM, and MasterCAM, with a certificate in CAD design. I obtained a Quality Control certificate as well, focusing on lean manufacturing and geometric design and manufacturing tolerances.
I have worked as a building superintendant for a few years. I learned to fix houses in order to make them livable again. I also worked with my father doing historic restoration. My skills include interior and exterior painting, drywall, basic electrical and plumbing, roofing, windows, doors, flooring, fencing, some masonry and property maintenance.
I have a vivid imagination that lends itself well to solving problems and logistical issues. Inventory and process engineering kinks are a forte of mine, aside from design. In the work place I have often implemented cost saving measures to reduce manufacturing waste and cut time from the finished product.
I am a musician who has taken many years of theory and over a decade of playing experience. I have played Carnagie Hall! I play tuba and bass, both electric and upright. I have played jazz, rock, metal, punk, classical, and orchestral. I also dabble in EDM and Djing, but more as a hobby. I use programs such as Ableton, Fruityloops, Beatwave and others. I use a Launchpad and like to program lightshows in conjunction with the music I compose.
I have worked as a chef and enjoy cooking as a hobby. I have experience as a New Haven pizza maker, cook in Italian restaraunts and high volume commercial kitchens serving 500+ guests.show more
