Spreadsheet for your Craft Business
25
You make amazing things. Maybe you sell or trade amazing things. But what you need is to keep track of which amazing things sell the most, what colors people like the best, how much you've spent on materials, how much you're getting per item, which items make you the most... all of these and more can be easily tracked with a spreadsheet.
I will make you a spreadsheet on Google Docs, tailored to your craft business needs.
What are some other things a spreadsheet can tell you?
-How much did you REALLY bring in at that last craft fair?
-Which online marketplace is costing you more for less return?
-How much per hour did you bring in at Craft Fair A vs. Craft Fair B?
-An easy to use customer list: where are most of your customers? How old are they? Do they get lots of items or just one big one?
-What times of year are your "dry spells"?
-How much sales tax should you pay next year?
-and lots lots more!
I will create a spreadsheet with two pages, each up to 20 columns by 20 rows, as a Google Sheet. You can edit, copy it, paste it, do with it whatever you like. You might make one page an order queue and the second page a customer list. Or, make one page a sales report and the other a craft show schedule. Can't decide? I'll add additional pages for 10 S each. I'll make certain you know how to use and edit your spreadsheet, and answer any questions you have any time.
A spreadsheet will help you visualize all the information you need to know, so you can write that business plan and ask for that loan, order your materials with confidence, send out holiday greetings to all your customers, and spend more time crafting and less time worrying about the business end.
