Jen was very flexible and allowed me to join her first “Wild Forest Walk” event, hosted by her and her partner, Mateus, in Canmore.
They lead us do...wn a beautiful trail in quiet beauty. We settled into a mossy patch among the trees to sit / lie down together.
Jen lead us through a beautiful guided meditation to connect with the plants and earth around us and to ground into ourselves.
Mateus is “wildly” knowledgeable about so many types of food and herbs that can be harvested from nature, and they not only talked about the different plants, but also their nutritional and medicinal benefits and how to prepare them.
I collected lots of little berries, herbs, and flowers along the way, which I either ate or took home to mix into different teas.
Beautiful day of learning and nature with the two of them and the others who joined.
I would definitely recommend getting in touch with Jen. She is a bright, caring light, and a wonderful human to know. show more
