About Jess Woodburn

I strive to use social media to find new ways to promote business and increase visibility. Marketing has changed with the digital age and I am a product of that school. Always interested in making new... connections and learning from other industries! While my main focus is art, I believe that the more friends I have in various fields, the bigger my business will become. I have been doing freelance graphic design for about 10 years, from wedding invitations to logo design to album artwork and everything in between. I genuinely love working with people to make their ideas come to fruition with stunning visuals and ease of access. I work exclusively with Adobe Photoshop CC15 these days, but I have experience with Illustrator and Gimp. An avid reader since I was a wee one and the child of English teachers, I have an uncomfortable obsession with spelling, grammar, and all the minutiae of writing. I have tried my hand at writing, but prefer proofing and editing other people's work. My father is a published author and so are several of my cousins, so I suppose it's in the genes! I currently work as a stay at home mom and freelance graphic designer, so my availability is fairly open. Rush jobs are always welcome; I'm a lady who loves a challenge. I also collect art, so I would love to use Simbi to expand my collection. There are still a few square feet available on my walls! I can't wait to meet new people across the country and make great friends along the way!show more
