Hello everyone! I am so excited to find a site that is just for bartering! Money currency is so overrated, and inflated unfortunately. However here we are. Let's make a deal and help one another. ... I am a mom to 6. They are 20 to 4 years old. Yes, they are all mine. Yes, I birthed them all. I get those questions frequently. I love kids. I really do. However I am at my limit lol. Job wise I am a pediatric RN. I specialize in medically fragile babies and children. Medically fragile meaning those that need life sustaining equipment and/or procedures to stay alive and need close high levels of monitoring. Almost all of my patients are trach and vent dependent. I love what I do. I really do. It isn't for everyone, and that is ok. I am also a doula. I have trained with DONA in 2007 and am currently cross training with Stillbirthday. As a doula I work with pregnant women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. I provide educational, emotional, and comfort measures to the laboring mother. I don't consider this a "hobby" even though I cannot devote myself to doula'ing full time. I love my nursing job, but this is my passion. In my spare time I enjoy traveling. Mostly outside of the U.S. I read a lot and am a long time member of www.bookcrossing.com, www.postcrossing.com, and www.geocaching.com. Bookcrossing is the reading, releasing, and finding of books. Postcrossing is sending and receiving postcards from all around the world. Geocaching is the finding of hidden items via a GPS search and find. All these sites are free. I'm pretty much an open book.
