10
Do you watch This Is Us? Have you caught all the nuances of the show? Let's share some ideas about one of the greatest shows on Television right now!
I first fell in love with this show after missing the first 10 episodes. My friends kept suggesting that I watch but I was busy! When I finally mad time to watch the show, I could not help but. Notice all of the cultural and historical themes running through the show.
What was black culture like in the 80s in Pittsburgh?
Why Randall? Was he a reflection of the historical idea of the token Black person? How so?
Why was Kate so selfish? Yet so unfulfilled? What reflections did her character have for US women today?
I have asked and answered so many of these questions and more! I am using these sessions to flesh out my ideas and offer a course on how tv viewers learn from the themes thag are presented in situational dramas! I hope to talk with you soon!
