I am a believer in HAES (Health At Every Size) so I do not celebrate weight loss just for the sake of it (simply losing weight doesn't make you healthier). I celebrate enjoying food, connecting to our bodies' individual needs and eating and moving in a way that satisfies us.
Intuitive eating can be truly life changing because it helps you find balance according to your own needs and not what a diet dictates. We still talk about nutrition, but we also address the many issues that come into play when it comes to actually achieving health (self-compassion, body acceptance and autonomy, access to adequate health care, social support etc.)
