I will tutor you in knitting, wherever you are in your knitting journey! I will ask you about your knitting experience and your knitting goals ahead of time, and I will come to class prepared to help you meet those goals. Here's some examples:

* You have never knit and are scared to try. I can teach you casting on, knitting and purling, and binding off. With some practice, you can use these skills to make stretchy square textiles, such as scarves or dish cloths.

* You are trying a new pattern and you're stuck or frustrated. I can give you tailored advice in reading your pattern, avoiding mistakes, and fixing existing mistakes.

* You've knit a few times and now you want to learn something new and fun. I can teach you a new technique that interests you and suggest patterns in which to use it.

* You've knit a few times but aren't pleased with the results. I can give you tips on how to make your finished pieces look more professional, via material choices, knitting tricks, and finishing techniques.

* You want to get started designing your own patterns. I can help you design and knit your first garment without using a pattern.

* You have a pattern, but you want to modify it to fit your needs. I can help you adjust sizing, add or remove elements, or swap out motifs to help you create a truly one-of-a-kind piece.
