Ask a Black Belt
Do you have questions about the Martial Arts? Are you looking at getting involved in your area for yourself or your child, and are not sure what to look for to find a good school? Or have you just thought that the Martial Arts have always been cool since you first watched the Ninja Turtles/Power Rangers/Kung Fu the Legend Continues/Bruce Lee movies, and were curious about the realities of training as a Martial Artist?
I can answer many questions including:
*How are Karate and Taekwondo and Jujitsu different from each other?
*What is it like to train in a class?
*How long does it take to ...?
*How to find a great Martial Arts School.
*How would the Martial Arts help me?
*What do all of these words I hear in Karate class mean?
*Do you have to register yourself as a lethal weapon? (NO, that is an urban legend)
*General history and philosophy questions, and lots more!
Training & Qualifications
I have been training in Karate for 20 years at a fantastic school that is both traditional and progressive. Through both teaching and working at the front desk I have welcomed hundreds of new students, helping them learn about the Martial Arts and to achieve their goals. I have a great memory as well, and have been called 'Hermione' when questions are asked about the Martial Arts in class!
