About Melvin Marsh MS CHt CAHA

Melvin Marsh is a practicing certified hypnotherapist in Augusta Georgia with particular interests in medical hypnosis, fear, and anxiety and currently owns and operates one of the leading Hypnotherap...y practices in the United States. It became one of the leading practices in no small part thanks to the Simbi community. He bartered his way to the top. He would like to thank you all for the opportunity. Melvin's educational background includes a B.S. in Anthropology and Human Biology from Emory University, a M.S. in Space Studies (focus on aerospace psychology) from the University of North Dakota, a MS in Experimental Psychology from Georgia Southern, and has completed an extensive amount of study on Webyeshiva. He then attended Medical College of Georgia where he was pursing his MD and left medical school to pursue his studies at HMI College of Hypnotherapy, the only nationally accredited college of hypnotherapy in the United States. He graduated with honours, won the Directors award and is a member of the exclusive Founder's Club, all of which happened in less than 10 months, setting a new school record. He became a certified hypnotherapist under the strict guidelines of the Hypnotherapist's Union, the strictest certifying agency in the country requiring an additional 80 clinical hours over that of the National Guild. His practice, After Hours Hypnotherapy, specializes in care after normal business hours and on weekends in order to better serve the busy professional. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in psychology so he can become a certified clinical hypnotherapist. He holds memberships in APA Division 30, SCEH, and ISH, the latter of which only has 150 members worldwide.
