Business Models for Artists!
35
This is the same deal I use for social entrepreneurs and small business owners, but designed especially for artists using language and ideas that are familiar to you from practicing your art or craft.
Did you know there is a canvas you can work with to develop your effective business model?
Do you struggle to fund your artistic endeavors while overlooking a solution in the business model itself? If you already use a business model canvas, is it cluttered and filled with 'little darlings' or curated and designed to serve your artistic calling?
Inspired by a recent Simbi deal with a freelancer looking for funding advice, I put together this deal for folks to review their business models. Getting clear on your business model and the related levers in your design can help you on the road to profitability and/or to replicable and authentic, mission driven growth. Over the hour long exchange, we will examine your current business model and consider ways you might curate and develop the model to move you from scarcity to abundance.
*sessions are 1 hour in length
**I had so much fun giving this offering via Simbi messenger, I am experimenting with more of these -- HMU for a Simbi messenger related discount.
Training & Qualifications
In addition coaching and business modeling to midsize companies and startups, I served as a Slow Money SoCal Director, Kiva Small Business Advisor, and an active and engaged 1MCups member. I have coached and supported many social entrepreneurs on business model development and funding plans over the last 8 years. The arts are always near and dear to me, and I find entrepreneurship as fulfilling as many other artistic expressions.
Availability & Preferences
M-F mornings PST -- have some flexibility. I just completed a deal we did by Simbi messaging, really enjoyed the exchange and the ability to retain the transcript. Zoom or text (slight discount on the text version), HMU!-- I'm looking for graphic designers to help with my website, and open to an exchange. Otherwise prefer simbis.
