Electronic Accessory Install
20
For every 20 simbi I will spend up to 1 hour installing electronic accessories for your car or home. This includes, but is not limited to, a car stereo/speakers, backup camera, home theater or other A/V equipment, security cameras, etc... You are responsible for buying all equipment, cables, and other parts required, but I have my own tools and am more than willing to help with selecting components.
The length of the install job can vary greatly depending on what's involved, but it's safe to assume any job will take at least an hour or two. Please feel free to contact me with details of what exactly you need done and I'll estimate how long it should take as best as I can ahead of time.
This service doesn't lend well to a virtual offering, but I am willing to provide technical support via voice, text, email, etc... if you want help while doing an install yourself.
Training & Qualifications
I worked almost 10 years as a communications/electronics technician in the United States Marine Corps. I began as a broadband microwave/multichannel radio repairman, trained to service equipment all the way down to soldering individual discrete components. I later became trained as a Technical Controller, responsible for help in planning, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting tactical communication networks. After separating from the service, I went back to school, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Physics from Xavier University. I have taken numerous graduate level Computer Science classes and often install my own devices when necessary.
Availability & Preferences
My schedule is pretty flexible.
