Troubleshoot Broken Electronics

For every 20 simbi, I will spend up to an hour testing, troubleshooting, and researching repair parts' prices for a single broken electrical/electronic device. This includes (but is not limited to) TVs, DVD/CD/other media players, other A/V equipment, computers, cell phones, motorized/computerized toys, power tools, etc... If it utilizes electric current to operate, there's a decent chance I can figure out if and how it can be fixed. This service does not include the acquisition of parts nor repair of the device (Please see my separate service for that). You can either allot me a maximum amount of time you want me to spend in advance or else I'll simply give you an update after each hour spent and, if I haven't fully narrowed down the problem, ask if you'd like me to continue working on it. This service is best done with the device delivered to my possession by local drop off/pickup or shipping, but I am also willing to try to assist virtually via a combination of voice/text/email/etc contact.
Training & Qualifications
I worked almost 10 years as a communications/electronics technician in the United States Marine Corps. I began as a broadband microwave/multichannel radio repairman, trained to service equipment all the way down to soldering individual discrete components. I later became trained as a Technical Controller, responsible for help in planning, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting tactical communication networks. After separating from the service, I went back to school, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Physics from Xavier University. I have taken numerous graduate level Computer Science classes and often repair my own devices when necessary.
