Intro to Yoga for Beginners
I will introduce you to the basics of yoga so you can get started! Whether you want to feel comfortable in a yoga studio class or develop a personal home practice, I can be that boost for you. We'll do this over video service like Zoom, since we're in a pandemic. You won't even need to leave home! You'll need a camera and microphone (any smartphone will do) placed so I can see you down to your feet and hear you. We can work on basic standing poses, or sun salutations, or seated stretches, or all of the above. If you have no idea what you want, we'll just get started and figure it out as we go.

Training & Qualifications
Certified through the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts at the 800-hour level. Many of my classes are for seniors, so I know how to make the poses accessible for those with aches, pains, and limited range of motion. I sat at a computer full-time for 18 years, so I have experienced that desk posture: low back pain, neck and shoulder pain, tight hamstrings... tired all the time, sluggish, stressed-out... I've been there.
Availability & Preferences
Weekends are great. Also some afternoons and evenings during the week.
