I am planning a trip to Japan in 2019 with several friends, and would like to be the third person in our group to be able to conversationally communicate should the group want to split up. I would like to know how to have a short, casual conversation; order food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic); and ask for directions to things like the train station.

I am looking for extended help and learning over the course of the next year, until whomever is helping me decides that I can comfortably communicate in JP. I am willing to pay 15 simbi/hr (since simbi translate to roughly $1 /?/ if comparing cost of simbi to cost of products here) or comparable services as needed to cover the duration of the language tutoring. I hope for a somewhat patient tutor since I learn quickly, but sometimes have trouble retaining what I've learned. I also might randomly remember things you haven't taught yet, since I did have a loose vocabulary in Japanese last time I went there several years ago for a business trip.

My request for delivery would be google hangouts video calls, skype calls, or even in person meeting up for coffee or tea.
