Looking at introducing your child to the world of computing? Scratch is a great program to get kids started with coding basics without any prior computing knowledge. I love how it helps children be creative in their animations and game designs along with enhancing their logical reasoning skills.

Learning to use technology the right way is an important skill that can be learnt if kids are introduced to it at an early age. Scratch is a great way to begin as early as age 7. It is a highly rewarding experience for a child to think of ideas and then see them come to life on screen.

I can help kids design simple animations, games, advertisements, greeting cards or even social campaigns etc. The complexity can be revved up based on a child's age, ability and exposure. It would be great to work with a child one-on-one, a big advantage when it comes to coding, because it can mean a lot of ideas can be bounced off during conversation. If your child is already comfortable with basics, I can work with him/her for advanced concepts like variables, mathematical operators etc.

I would like to help your child with 3 projects after an initial assessment of what the child already knows. Each project would be approximately 40 mins.
