Pictures from Armenia

5

5 per unit - Virtual OK - Posted Sep 13, 2016

From April to October of 2015, I spent six months volunteering in Armenia, doing internships. During that time I traveled the country from north to south, east to west, taking hundreds of pictures of rolling hills, peaceful mountain meadows, busy cities, lush foggy forests, ancient churches, glistening lakes and the iconic Mt. Ararat. And because I stayed there for so long, I got to see places most normal tourists never see. I even went on a five day excursion to Nagorno-Karabakh as well, a disputed territory few people ever get to visit.

For the low price of five Simbi for ten photos, you too can see the dramatic landscape of the southern Caucasus. Unless you have a specific sight you want to see, all photos will be chosen at random and will be just of scenery, not of myself. I'll also tell you the location of each photo I send; feel free to ask more about them too. All photos will be sent as an attachment in messages. If you use them anywhere, I kindly request that you credit me please!

Other than that, enjoy!

Training & Qualifications

I stayed in Armenia for six months and went on excursions every weekend with the Birthright Armenia organization, living in Yerevan for the first four months and Vanadzor for the final two. And I always had a camera phone with me.

Availability & Preferences

Any time.

Trading Preference: I prefer being paid in simbi

5.0 out of 5 stars Deeply moving - a future classic. ByLouise J. Haddawayon April 19, 2017 Format: Kindle Edition Deeply moving, thoughtful recounting... of the trials of war overtaking a young boy and his friends in an orphanage in Armenia. A clear rendition in clear and concise voice that both brings you into the past of a harsh survival, and the joys and innocence of a young boy. Finished the book longing for more, and with a lump in my throat and my heart full of sorrow. Won't give it away, but this is a book that will become a classic in understanding the costs of war on the innocent.show more

About Suren Oganessian

My name's Suren Oganessian (a nice unique name I inherited from my grandfather), and I'm an up-and-coming indy novelist with one book out and many more to come soon! I was born in California but have ...been forced to immigrate to Florida in pursuit of the American dream (i.e. affordable housing, gas, everything), although I feel that my heart truly belongs in Armenia, and I volunteered there for six months back in 2015. I have a Master's degree in Creative Writing and the debt to prove it, making Simbi just the kind of place for me.show more
