If you're in a position where you have to either create your own website or hire someone to do it & you're afraid of making the wrong choice, I can help you decide the best direction to go given what you've got to work with. Even if you have almost no budget (as long as your expectations are realistic).
I am familiar with WordPress, Squarespace, plain ol' HTML, several different website hosting platforms and companies, domain name services and issues, hacking prevention and countless other related things.
If you need ideas about how you might use the web to streamline your business or allow you to provide a better level of service, I'm your (wo)man.
This is *not* a session that ends with "Oh I guess you just need to hire me." Although that's sometimes an option, I have limited availability. I can do you worlds of good just by keeping you from making big mistakes :)
Training & Qualifications
I've developed websites since 1998, for everyone from solo entrepreneurs to local business owners to Fortune 500 companies. I have a B.S. in Communication, so my background and advice is geared toward your overall business/website/marketing and not just technical things. I've had my own freelance consulting business since 2009, and prior to that worked for a design firm that had mostly corporate-type clients.
