You just came home from a workshop that you facilitated- maybe it was a youth arts workshop, or an experiential training for adults. You may have encountered unexpected resistance, had a game go wrong, or had one participant derail an entire session's worth of content.
Consciously reflecting on your experiences can transform a challenging session into strength and confidence.
1. Venting is pretty satisfying, and as an experienced facilitator I am happy to provide a sympathetic ear.
2. In a 30 minute Skype/Google chat, I hope that I can use my perspective and experiences to help you identify solutions, learn tools to deal with resistance, and/or offer ideas for games and icebreakers that I've seen work in similar circumstances.

Training & Qualifications
Through my study in Partners for Youth Empowerment's Creative Community model, I use experiential learning to bring groups together across difference. I include in my toolbox the ability to lead effective debriefs, engage in conflict resolution, build safe(r)containers, and use a strength-based lens throughout all aspects of my programs.
I have crafted alternative practicums for teacher candidates, supported community changemakers, co-created with youth, and guided arts educators in building their skills. With a focused intention on your group’s goals, I can help you build skills, techniques, and effective programs.
I have been a professional screenprinter for over 12 years and specialize in leading beyond-the-technique workshops for youth from Gr. 5-12, large group art parties, and at youth changemaker conferences.
