Looking for a long term collaborator on a couple of different games. The overall goal is to create avenues for crowdfunding environmental restoration and research, so if ocean conservation and combating rising sea levels is a cause that is important to you this would be a good project! The overall timeline is that I am working on a board game, which is supposed to kickstart over this holiday season, and then the IP and revenue from that will roll over into the next game:
Phase 2 is a potentially browser based game, with an interactive overworld and assortment of mini games that may also contain sponsored ad content, or microactions to benefit scientific research. So coding wise, very simple, will be made up of small games that have already been written, and potentially get more sophisticated with reCAPTCHA type things similar to what EVE online is currently doing with the 'Sister's of Eve' initiative and scouting exoplanets.
Phase 3 is a fully 3D game, designed to be very lively and appropriate for streaming platforms. Colorful and fun, the main mechanic of the game is a 'sandbox' open world building sim, with the witty punchline of it literally being sand. Cooperative, creative environment, with a healthy balance of 'make your own fun' with optional mini games which can be used to unlock specialty decorations and enhancements, as well as microtransactions whose purchase contributes funding to oceanic conservation. My goal is to make the most dynamic and entertaining emergent gameplay possible and put the user in a state of vacation roleplay, as an alternative to cost prohibitive travel but still provide similar social outlet.
If any of this interests you at all, be sure to get in touch with me, specifics on budget TBD as I assemble more of the team.
