I'm a relatively spontaneous person. A dreamer without an accurate sense of time, I find it easy to get caught up in ideas and all things new and interesting. I'm a huge fan of the creative process and I value the experimental approach to most things.

Never sure if I'm a nerd or a geek, or an introvert or extrovert. I'm definitely a word nerd, and a game geek. I write for a living, and work for a great company that is passionate about helping people live their dreams. Trying to learn guitar chords in my spare time, but lately the spare time is less because I'm training for a high elevation Spartan race in the spring. Mostly this feels like getting ran over. I hope that changes!

Hobbies and crafts, roadtrips and adventures, the outdoors and nature -- these are some of my favorite things. I will travel for live music, scenery, experiences, and quality time with friends and family.

There are a few things I'm pretty good at and a whole bunch of things I know nothing about. That's okay, because there are all kinds of people with all kinds of interests and skills to make up for what we lack. For example, I would make a terrible nurse! Blood draws make me faint. Super thankful for nurses and doctors though.

Sci fi is my favorite genre. "Dial the gate!"

At last count I've been to 38 states in the USA, 2 provinces in CA, and 16 other countries - not nearly enough. A few of them more than once and I still can't wait to go back.

Random thought for right now - there is *totally* try. Yoda didn't have to be such a naysayer - try! It's okay. :)
