Ask the SO of one who has bipolar
10
I'll help answer some of your questions relating to how to help support loved ones who may have mental-health-related diagnoses and how to maintain your own sanity while doing so. Please allow up to 4 days for the session due to me having a full-time job, childcare, and the task of maximizing the general stability of our own household. If we're stable and I'm available, I'm more than happy to speak with you same-day.
I'm offering this in 20-min blocks for the same reason (committing to one-hour blocks might jeopardize our stability, and that wouldn't be wise). If, however, things are going well at home and I'm available, longer sessions are welcome! I also think 20-min blocks also work well for low pricing (for those who may not have very many credits).
Please note: I am not a doctor nor a professional counselor, and this session is not to be used in lieu of professional medical advice, treatment or support.
Training & Qualifications
I am the 14-year spouse of a great person who has mental health diagnoses including bipolar II [mostly depressive episodes], major depressive disorder, anxiety, and PTSD, for which she sees doctors, therapists, takes medications, and receives ECT treatments on a regular basis. I am not a doctor nor a professional counselor, and this session is not to be used in lieu of professional medical advice, treatment or support.
