I will teach you the Guitar and basics inMusic THeory and help you understand the basic underlying principles of Music. These sessions can be in person or done through skype,facetime, videochats... Etc. I try to simplify the learning process so that you can grasp the concepts necessary to not just play music, but understand what you are playing and why it sounds that way and why it manifests certain emotions and moods. You will also learn exercises and patterns that will speed up how long it takes to get going and feel comfortable on the instrument, if you are a beginner. This will make playing more enjoyable and encourage you to keep playing long after many people give up. There is a period in the beginning where everything seems so daunting and overwhelming, so if we can minimize this period and get you jamming faster, you can end up being a musician and having fun and playing music that sounds good in no time.
Training & Qualifications
I am a guitarist and I also play two types of flutes. I have had training in music theory and am currently in school furthering my studies. These sessions will be best for people that are beginners or just starting out, although I have enough knowledge and skills to help further intermediae players knowledge and playing, espeially in theory. More advanced players should probably only hit me up to collaborate or jam together! which i am always open to
