Let's talk about self care! It's important to care for other people, but you can't pour from an empty cup. You need to take time to take care of yourself too. Self care is about helping your mind relax and feel better. It's something that we should all prioritize and take seriously. To often we focus on the needs of others and can find ourselves feeling overwhelmed or stressed. I can talk to you and help you create a self care box or plan full of easy and convenient ways for you to take care of your mental health.
Training & Qualifications
I am a mental health advocate, crisis counselor, blogger, and am currently finishing up my Bachelors in Psychology before I pursue my Masters in Social Work and Mental Health Counseling in the spring. I have multiple certificates in suicide prevention and crisis counseling including Question Persuade Refer, Mental Health First Aid, and am a certified crisis counselor through American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Crisis Text Line. I also have personal experience as someone recovered from an eating disorder, depression, and anxiety.
