Jewelry Making

I enjoy making a custom pair of earrings, bracelets and necklaces out of wire and beads. If you like the pictures of the jewelry that I have already made, I can send it to you. I like making jewelry for people to wear and enjoy.
I started making costume jewelry because my ears are irritated by the costume jewelry and I couldn't find an inexpensive alternative in stores (those labelled hypoallergenic still irritated me). Also, I lose jewelry pretty easily so I didn't want to have to buy real gold earrings for every occasion so I decided to learn how to make my own.
To prevent irritation, I wear piercing studs and make earrings that can be worn around the studs. I also make sure that the part of the earring that attaches to the stud is gold plated/silver plated so that my ear does not become irritated.
Since only one part of the earring is real gold plated it allows me to make inexpensive costume jewelry without worrying about irritating my ear or loosing expensive earrings.
Training & Qualifications
I am self taught with about 3 years experience making earrings and I have been making necklaces and bracelets for about 1 year. To teach myself I utilized library books and You-Tube videos. Currently I only work with copper wire, mostly glass beads and crystals less than 1" in length and width. I look forward to gaining more experience and feedback.
Availability & Preferences
I am usually free on the weekends.
