Navigate an emotional trigger.
What is a trigger? When you react emotionally to a situation, you feel it in your body and you can't get it out of your head. People might even ask you: Why are you overreacting? Well the reason is that the current situation is reminding you of something that happened in the past. There is unresolved emotion about the past situation within you and the current situation is "pressing that button" inside of you and all of that emotion has now come to the surface and that is why you feel like you can't calm yourself down. Your overreaction usually has nothing to do with the current situation and this is usually when we can totally sabotage relationships (personal or professional). The moment that we are triggered is the most amazing opportunity to understand ourselves and let go of the emotional pain and return to peace. I can teach you how to do this!

I am a trained and experienced counselor but most of all I have taught myself how to navigate triggers and I love to teach others to do the same.
