I've been growing veggies in my backyard for over 10 years -- all organic, all types of veggies, summer, spring, winter. I have about 55 feet of raised beds dedicated to my veggie patch, have learned a lot by doing about what works and doesn't work! I also have a separate herb bed. I've taken a couple classes so have learned tips from the experts too - Winter Veggie and Tomato Masters classes. I also have bees, a compost bin, and a worm bin so can answer any questions about those. My backyard is entirely edible, so besides the raised beds, I have various fruit trees: brown turkey fig, fuji apple, lime, tangerine, fuyu persimmon (the hard kind), pomegranate, and kumquats.
